the assembly commission

The Commission is a corporate body and is the legal entity which supports the Assembly.

• It employs staff to service the Assembly
• It holds the Assembly property in Cardiff Bay
• It may enter into contracts and provide support services

Its staff are legally separate from the civil servants employed at Cardiff Bay and do not enjoy civil servant status.
